All Morris County Football Team: Players and Honors
The All Morris County Football Team selection recognized football players who showed strong performance during the season in Morris County competitions. Three senior players from Delbarton School were selected for this group – Patrick Caughey, Aidan Papantonis and Cole Morgan. Each player contributed in different positions and became part of the team recognition during the annual county football event.
All Morris County Football Team Selection and Player Achievements
The annual All Morris County Football Team recognition was connected with the work of local football programs and coaches who selected players for their season performances. The event took place on Thursday, December 9, when the Morris County Football Coaches Association hosted its annual luncheon at the Boonton Knights of Columbus.
Delbarton School had three senior football players selected for the county team. The players represented different parts of the game, including defense, running attack and offensive line positions. Their performances helped the team during the season and brought individual recognition.
The selected players:
- Patrick Caughey – defensive line player and team captain
- Aidan Papantonis – running back and offensive contributor
- Cole Morgan – offensive line player
Patrick Caughey received recognition for his work on defense. As a defensive line player, he became an important part of the team’s defensive unit. His role included stopping running plays and creating pressure against opposing offenses.
Aidan Papantonis was recognized as a running back. His performance was connected with the offensive production of the team. Running backs often have a central role in football because they help move the ball through rushing plays and create opportunities for scoring situations.
Cole Morgan was selected for his work on the offensive line. Offensive linemen usually do not receive the same attention as skill position players, but their role is necessary for creating successful offensive plays. Morgan helped provide protection and support for the team’s attacking system.

Additional Football Honors and Conference Recognition
Along with All Morris County Football Team honors, several Delbarton players received additional recognition from football organizations. Aidan Papantonis and Cole Morgan were selected together with Dylan Hakes and David Link for First Team All–United White Division Super Football Conference offense honors.
Patrick Caughey received First Team All–United White Division Super Football Conference recognition for defense. Matt Gemma was also included in the defensive first team selection.
These awards reflected performances during the season across different competitions. Players were recognized for their contributions in conference games and their ability to perform consistently throughout the year.
Delbarton Players and Further Recognition
Cole Morgan received another individual honor when he was selected to the second team All–New Jersey offense team by USA Today Network. This recognition added another achievement to his football season.
The different awards showed that several Delbarton players had strong results in their positions. Football teams include many roles, and each position has specific tasks during games.
